Hi i have a xbox360 and ps3 consels. Ive played many games for both of them and it seems like xbox has more games than the ps3 but the ps3 has better graphics. None of u have evr played warhawk for the ps3 but its an intense game that has 32 players playing online on a huge map to hide, snipe set up traps, and battle in different areas instead of little corners. The maps r really big like you can drive a tank or 4×4 jeep across the battle field w/in 1:30. Very intense game u can fight in the air or on land. You can dogfight or help defend your teams when they have thee enemys flag. Very intense game i have ever played! Now they have tournaments not for battlepacks or upgrades but for better looking for your character like every year they have a tournament for 1 clan team players minimum is 4 players and also must have 4 players on your team. When you win the tournament you recieve the ggl combat blade, or new designs for your warhawk customization. They have customization for both your warhawk and character the more you rank up the more you get better customization especially for you character! IF you want to check out the ggl warhawk tournament combat blades look it @ ggl combat blades and 1ce you get your blades you can use them online and show them out to the other players that you won the ggl tournament for warhawk! I have many tips, tricks, and cheats for cod4mw for both xbox and ps3. I also have cheats, tips, tricks, but plz ask me questions on warhawk and call of duty 4 modern warfare. I may be in a low rank for both games but i do have the movements and mind of 1 of the top ranks on both call of duty 4 modern warfare and warhawk. I have both consoles and I have found in reading most peoples comparisons to be hilarious. first of all, more processing power does not automatically mean better graphics. The GPU is handling the graphics processing and both consoles have solid GPU’s but here is the real kicker. If you do not have enough memory to handle higher resolution textures then it does not matter.

PS3 = Better Audio Features, Can handle more simulatanius processing due to the cell architecture so more effects on the screen at one time. Polygon Counts are going to be slightly more capable on the PS3 but not by much.

XBox360 = Better Online matchmaking and communication, Has fast processors than the Cell just not as parrallel so it can brute force process games faster but not do as many simultanius tasks. Much more texture memory so higher res textures can be used on the 360 vs the PS3 making most dual console games look better on the 360.

All in All, as newer games come out on the PS3 and we start seeing devs use more effective compression algorithms as well as use the parallel processing capabilities more effectively and get those higher polygon counts going we should see PS3 exclusives overtake the 360 in graphics fidelity but right now it is not where near that close with the exception of a few titles like Killzone 2.

With all that said I expect COD MW2 to look better on the 360.

Hillarious paying a fee to game online over your own internet connection, get a pc and play the game properly ps3 and 360 are old hat now, save yourself paying ms 100 a year and enjoy better graphics

I believe you pay for what you get.
and the 360 is designed for light gamers as you pay for extra gaming like live.
the ps3 has all the extras – blue ray disks etc

about a year and a half ago i bought both a ps3 and 360 both new, in that time i have hardly seen my 360 i have had to send it off 4 times to get fixed, whereas my Ps3 has had no problems runs good as new, saved me a lot of money on AAA batteries i ges.

i found the same problem with xbox and ps2 , i bought both new a year appart, my ps2 works to this day, the xbox didn’t last a year before i had trouble.

so im all for sony
but if you realy look around i found that wii has more sales than both ps3 and 360.
everyone i know is trading in there 360s for ps3s so i hope they do spend the extra time encoding the game would love the extra detail.

i am so disapointed in my 360 im trading it in 4 a wii

I have a 360 and love it! I dont really mind accpeting that technically the Playstation 3 is better… but to be honest, i think that its a bit over the top – its a great toy, yes. but does it really need a blue ray player when the PS3 was made to play games? it just adds to the empty space in your wallet when you buy it. the 360 i think, takes the fundamentals and make them really special. and to be honest, i dont mind paying the 40 quid a year for live… because its worth every penny!

when it comes to xbox live i think you are paying for the better package. ps3 may be free but the experience just isnt to that of xbox live. Just now i feel xbox took off much quicker with far more games and is the prefferred console for most gamers. I have both but only use my xbox for actual gaming. PS3 was just a cheaper blu-ray player. But when it comes to the future of gaming PS3 has the most capability and will always in my eyes be the better console. Blue-ray discs have a larger memory capacity, and although both HDDVD and blu-ray are at the same quality just now (in relation to what difference the human eye can notice) blu-ray is deffinately set for the future.

Also when it comes to microsoft, the service is joke. I do not mistreat my xbox in anyway but it has broke down three times in the past year with red rings. one of those times it was repaired and sent back working free of charge, but 2 out of the 3, an E74 message has came up which among others i have heard of, are not covered by the warranty and i have had to pay 60 pounds each to get it repaired. My ps3 is still working strong since the day i bought it .
Xbox or Playstation ? the choice is yours.
