Microsoft Xbox in talks with Activision and IW??????

I was just speaking to a friend who’s gone to California to study his 2nd year – media and PR at USC, and he was telling me that there is a rumor going round that Microsoft is in talks with Infinity Ward and Activision on securing “Episodes” of Modern Warfare…

Immediately I questioned this and thought it was complete nonsense. However, with what we saw a couple weeks ago with the release of  “lost and Dammed” for GTA 4 then this rumor could be more than just a rumor. And anyone who wasn’t in the know about “lost and dammed” had to be surprised, I know I was!! I mean who would have thought we would get a second outing on the game with a story and content, BUT… and this is a Big BUT… it was Microsoft Xbox who secured the rights for the next epp and left Poor old Sony PS3 fans in the Dark… I genuinely hope there is gonna be some kind of downloadable story content, like some part 2 type episode, but most of all i hope that Sony gets the rights too!

What’s scary even more is that that the Infinity Ward studios are in California and they probably attract rumors for hype and that’s possibly how my friend picked it up… who knows eh??
