COD MW2 Guns Guns Guns…
Its a new game, new story with new characters… however the most defining reason to play this game is because of the huge array of guns and weapons. Our personal favourite is the P90, and it has been a gem to play with, the huge ammo clip, the speed that you can move with it, its the gun that makes you wanna start the game up over and over.
Obvious guns that stick out such as the noble M4, the shiny desert eagle (especially in Gold!), the humble grenade and of course the king of all rifles, the demon itself… the AK47. However weve seen these guns in and out through all action shooters across all games, and lets just say they’re getting a bit well … usual. This is modern warfare, its in the near future, and guns have changed, so what new guns can we expect that will define the era to come???
Anyone whose ever watched an episode of Discovery Channels Future weapons will tell you that games are no way near up to date with the latest tech. The show features military hardware from across the globe, that aim to do one thing… strike awe and fear. The shows presenter Richard “Mack” Machowicz gets to test out the latest hardware and show how far weapons have come. So taking into account that the game is based in the future, then the weapons that we will see in the game will be up to date with the guns in the show, obviously some of the weapons that are tested on the show are prototypes and some even based on theory, however some are almost reaching the battlefields of today. So what weapons could make a feature in the coming MW2???? maybe>
something smart, sophisticated and understated?

AS50 Sniper Rifle
How about the AS50 Sniper Rifle? with incendiary ammo- bullets that are on FIRE!

M32 Grenade Launcher
How about The MGL (Multiple Grenade Launcher) is a lightweight 40mm semi-automatic, 6-shot grenade launcher
These three weapons are just a tiny selection of what could possibly end up in the game, all we know is that Call of Duty modern warfare 2 has a chance to genuinely out date all other games with the new sophisticated tech that will be available in the near future, and provide the Fans the experience that lies in the scary horizon!
let us know what you think should be in the game, who knows maybe we might even get some plasma ray guns???
nice blog btw, the game should have that gun that can shoot round corners i saw one time on future weapons thatd be so cool. even better would be an automatic shotgun like the one in max payne with the cool sound!
There was a full auto shotgun I saw on that show a while back. It would be a bitch to carry with all the ammo, 100 round drums, but it’d a show stopper on the battle field.

DO NOT..i repeat DO NOT put ray guns or plasma guns in it. real modern guns is what makes cod4 so dam good. why not put in better shotguns? mini guns? anything but alien/futureistic laser crap

I think cod4 was a grate idea so I should expect much more from the next modern warfare. One more thing could you put veicals in it and a cool idea is you should have the weapons have more than one attachment.example aimming attachments(red dot site or acog scope) with a gun attachments(bayonet,silenecers,biepods,and granade lanchers). Plus since there is differnt people you play as make so you have different 7 kill streaks(dogs,helicopters,and 20 second invicabilaty by guns not niffes and explosons.
do not put in ray guns but put in some british weapons like the SA80 or something and keep the M16A4

I think they just suggested that if they bring back zombie mode they’d update the ray gun into a plasma rifle. If that’s the case then AWESOME!
As for the M16, I didn’t think it was overpowered, I preferred the M4 myself. Besides, instead of removing a very iconic weapon IW would simply re-tune it if it really was overpowered. And its the only 3-burst weapon.
i think IW should just keep the best guns from cod4 and add the newest guns such as all the ones seen on Future Weapons. NO RAY GUNS this should be a normal game not a bunch of alien crap

ray guns etc… could be a nice novelty in a similar game to waw’s nazi zombies. But as far as the main multiplayer gameplay…keep things like that away XD
i think they need to put in a function so that you can change from 3 round burst to single shotand then tofully auto this wouldmake the gamemore realistic

i think they should add the xtrema 2 auto shotgun as this would take close-quarter combat tothe next level

The XM8. I live everything about this gun. I heard that it is a confirmed gun so Im just extremely happy about that. Also I would like to see the MP7 in the game.
